I really dislike writting reviews even though some authors are quite inspiring. Reading is one of my favorites forms of entertainment and with the advent ebooks and self published authors, the number of new published books are staggering. It seems the only way to get to the books/authors I like are to leave a review. Most books I read already have well thought out reviews that I generally agree with. In most cases I only leave a review if I either really enjoyed the book or hated it. So, for this particular book I concur with the other five star reviews and leave this review to show support and to encourage timely future books. I thank the author for an affordable good story.

Just One Drop Book 3 in the Grey Wolves Series eBook Quinn Loftis Rachel Carr Reviews

Just One Drop by Quinn Loftis is book three of Prince of Wolves. Jacque, Jen, and Sally are headed to Romania, where the rest of the series takes place.

PS spoilers if you haven’t read earlier books in the series!

Finally mated, Jacque and Fane are learning to live together. Jen and Decebel still can’t admit they’re attracted to each other. Sally is just trying to survive this transition. Jen’s just had the bomb of her heritage dropped, she’s got wolf blood!

Oh, and it’s time for Mate Fest… the largest gathering of unmated wolves in centuries, and Jen has to attend. Thankfully, Sally and Jacque are going with her. But somehow, Jen’s got to keep a possessive Decebel under control because he can’t claim her without mating signs, and she doesn’t have any. Of course, the Gathering (the stuffy wolves’ name for Mate Fest) can’t just be easy. A behind-the-scenes plot to take over threatens the lives of a lot of the pack, and the girls have to stop it.

The awesome dynamite that is Jennifer Adams reigns supreme in this episode, and she’s taken center stage with her normal sexy, saucy wit and drive-you-nuts charm. Jacque may be mated, but that doesn’t decrease her loyalty to her two best friends. Fane merges himself into their circle, and the girls meet a few other female werewolves. The plot escalates in this thrilling third installment of the Gray Wolves.
Since I just binged on the entire grey wolf and gypsy series, I'm just going to copy and paste this message. It is well worth the read, the characters are great, the villains are evil and the heroines are not damsels in distressed waiting around for their big bad wolves to rescue them. Quinn writes with flare and energy, with vibrance and realism and above all with a rhythm that makes you just swiftly jump into the next book, and the next and the next and then you are crying because the next one is not out yet. So if you want a great story that will stay with you and doesn't forget the characters from the previous books (like many series tend to do) do read these series they are totally worth the laughs, cries and emotions that will pour out of you.
In Just One Drop there is so much more going on with the pack and with the Grey Wolves as a whole. There is an Alpha who from what I can determine is not mated and probably certifiable with delusions of grandeur wanting to take over the world and the only thing, in his mind, standing in his way is Vasile and his pack. Thad’s goal seems to be to create as much distraction and diversion as possible with in Vasile’s pack that he doesn’t see the threat until it is too late. I can honestly say I really didn’t like him at all. I think the thing that surprised me the most was the traitor in Vasile’s pack, I thought I knew who this traitor was but when she was exposed I was honestly surprised, I didn’t see that coming.

Jen and Decebel’s being mates was already a forgone conclusion by the end of the second book but it comes into focus in Just One Drop as we watch them fight the attraction to each other since they are sure they can never be together because of the lack of any indicators proving they are mates. It doesn’t help that other wolves are using Jen and her antics to antagonize her Decebel. LMAO I loved the plan Jen hatches for the guys that made a movie night out of the video they took. I honestly have to say it reminded me of the plan my oldest daughter and her friends hatched to get even with the 2 boys that had harassed them for 2 years. They went through proper channels and nothing was done so the girls decided to make up wedding invitations saying the boys were getting married and taped them to almost every locker at the school. When I got to the school and listen to them tell me why my daughter (the ring leader in this) was being suspended, I told the Assistant Principal at the time that if she had done her job in the first place and protected the girls from the boys, my daughter and her friends would not have had to resort their actions and there for my daughter would not be punished at home for it.

After reading Just One Drop which is book 3 in The Grey Wolves series I am convinced that Quinn Loftis maybe as awesome a writer as Laurann Dohner, who has also created an amazing world that could almost be real. If I were to compare the two authors I would be hard pressed because both do seem to pay very close attention to the details of their stories from book to book. Thankfully I am not comparing the two, because I can’t because one is a young adult writer and the other is an adult writer with similar genres but different styles both of which appeal to me.

Finally the rating, I want to give Just One Drop five-stars but it has enough edits to drop the rating by one star so a four-star rating is what I am giving this amazing book with it’s amazing world.

Happy Reading
